Evelyn: 17th birthday

Today was my birthday! We decorated some more for my birthday and I went to choir. I also went to work, but it wasn't that long, and I worked with people I liked.

My family made me a cake like the one Hagrid made for Harry.

This was my cake. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture before we put candles in.

My brother told me to smile while I was cutting my cake, so I did.

This is after we ate it. It was really good. I think it was red velvet. :D

For my birthday, my family got me a Slytherin tie, a Slytherin scarf and a pair of Harry Potter's glasses. This makes me really happy, because I was going to buy a Slytherin tie for my party when my family and I go up to Tucson next week, and now I don't have to! I can just spend my money on books and other stuff I can't get in our town. :D

So yeah, I really enjoyed my birthday today. Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I can't wait until next week, when I'll have my ACTUAL party. That's going to be a BLAST and I can't wait to write all about it.
